Who Am I?

Creativity has always been a part of my life, ever since my mum heard me singing along to the car radio and sent me to singing lessons. Growing up, I did singing lessons, dance lessons (ballet, tap, modern, ballroom & latin) and later on acting. I wanted to pursue it for a career but lack of belief in myself meant I ended up going down the ‘normal, sensible’ route. I studied psychology and worked for the NHS for 12 years at a Secure Forensic Psychiatric Unit. The role was intensely stressful and demanded unpredictable shift hours.

The stress of the job, not living my passions and trauma and loss I experienced in my childhood started to take their toll. I began experiencing the early warning signs of burnout. Insomnia, constant fatigue, and an overwhelming sense of disconnection. Alarmingly, I didn't recognise the glaring signs of burnout. I ended up being diagnosed with fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety. The toll was so severe that I had to step away from work for five excruciating years.

Enough was enough and I decided to take control of my health. I delved into personal development, learning about the mind/body connection, holistic healing, subconscious reprogramming and using creativity to heal. I started to make progress.

During this healing period, COVID hit. Suddenly, my regular creative outlet of singing was taken away. Creativity was a part of my self care and I needed to find some other way to express myself. That's when I stumbled upon the world of acrylic pouring and abstract art through a YouTube rabbit hole. I loved it so went a little further and discovered the Milan Art Institute’s Mastery Program. Turns out that I’m an artist.

I already new that singing helped me with stress but when I started painting I discovered the incredible healing power of creative expression in a new way. The transformative journey wasn't solely about honing a new skill, but about rediscovering my true self. The mental clarity, improved mood, innovative ideas, and enhanced focus were undeniable benefits I experienced when I let creativity in.

My own healing journey inspired me to become qualified as a coach and that is when I found Belief Coding®. It was an absolute revelation. I was able to release 10 years of chronic back pain in 2 hours along with many other discomforts. My health and my life has improved in so many ways, it is hard to describe. Everything I have achieved has been a result of releasing trauma and overcoming limiting beliefs that were holding me back.

Today, I'm not just an artist. As a Creative Health Transformation Coach, I work with people with chronic conditions. Through this path, I'm determined to empower others to self heal and create radiant health so they can get their life back.
